APAC & Middle East, August 2026 — Topsoe has appointed Dr. Sunaina Dutta as Head HR – APAC & Middle East, bringing more than two decades of human resources leadership experience across HR strategy, talent management, organizational effectiveness, culture, workforce planning and leadership development.
In her new role, Dr. Dutta will lead Topsoe’s HR agenda across APAC and the Middle East, partnering with business leaders to align people strategy with regional and global priorities. Her mandate encompasses talent and succession planning, organization design, performance management, leadership development, workforce planning, change management and employee engagement. She will also focus on strengthening HR operations and building scalable people practices across geographically diverse markets.
Before joining Topsoe, Dr. Dutta spent more than 11 years with Hettich India Pvt. Ltd. as Head of Human Resources. During her tenure, she led comprehensive people programs spanning talent management, learning and development, performance management, organizational development and culture. She also served as a strategic human capital partner to business leaders, developed talent strategies for critical positions and contributed to strategic HR policies and systems. Her experience at Hettich included supporting merger and acquisition initiatives and implementing performance management and employee engagement frameworks.
Earlier, she spent five years with JBM Group as Head – HR, supporting employee engagement and relations across the headquarters and manufacturing operations covering more than 5,000 employees. Her responsibilities included culture transformation, employer branding, compliance, employee engagement, rewards and recognition, and learning initiatives. Prior to JBM Group, she was Senior Human Resources Manager at Rai Foundation, where she partnered with the CEO and executive leadership on people strategy, workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
Dr. Dutta began her HR career with Apollo Hospital, where she served as Deputy Manager – HR and worked across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, career planning and organizational development. She holds an MBA in HR & Marketing from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.
