Delhi NCR, Delhi, India, June 2026 — Max Healthcare has elevated Sumedha Sachdeva to the position of General Manager – Head of Brand & Social Media Marketing. In her new role, she will lead the organization’s brand strategy, social media marketing initiatives, content-led engagement, and integrated communication efforts to further strengthen Max Healthcare’s position as one of India’s leading healthcare brands.
Sumedha has been associated with Max Healthcare for more than four years and has played an instrumental role in strengthening the organization’s marketing and brand-building initiatives. Prior to her promotion, she served as Deputy General Manager at Max Healthcare, where she led integrated marketing programs, content strategies, brand campaigns, and digital engagement initiatives that supported the organization’s growth and visibility across key markets.
Before joining Max Healthcare, Sumedha worked with ZEE5 as Senior Manager – Customer Success, where she conceptualized branded content solutions, collaborated closely with sales teams to drive revenue growth, and helped develop innovative content-led marketing opportunities for advertisers and partners.
Earlier, she spent nearly nine years with Dentsu Aegis Network, rising to the position of Client Services Director. During her tenure, she managed strategic marketing and communications mandates for prominent brands including IKEA India, Tata Global Beverages, Tetra Pak, Max Healthcare, Carlsberg, Maruti Suzuki, and Max Antara. She played a key role in developing integrated marketing campaigns, digital brand-building initiatives, influencer marketing programs, production campaigns, and consumer insight studies.
Prior to Dentsu, Sumedha worked with Hansa Events and Activation / RK Swamy Hansa Group, where she was involved in the planning and execution of large-scale brand events and activations for leading organizations. Earlier assignments included internships with Leo Burnett, 141 Wallstreet (the OOH arm of Bates 141), and Indian Social Security, providing her with a strong foundation in advertising, communications, consumer research, and brand management.
With extensive experience spanning healthcare marketing, digital communications, content strategy, customer engagement, and integrated brand building, Sumedha brings a well-rounded perspective to her expanded leadership role. Her promotion reflects Max Healthcare’s continued investment in strengthening its brand presence, enhancing patient engagement, and leveraging digital platforms to build deeper connections with stakeholders.
