Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, May 2025 — Sumit Jain has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Unacademy, marking a significant leadership transition for one of India’s leading edtech companies. His entrepreneurial journey began with CommonFloor.com, a pioneering real estate platform acquired by Quikr, where he served as Co-Founder and CEO for nearly a decade.
In addition to his operational roles, Sumit is a prominent angel investor and advisor, having backed over two dozen startups across edtech, SaaS, healthtech, and creator economy segments.
