Gurugram, Haryana, India, October 2024 – Tejinder Gill has been promoted to the role of Managing Director at The Trade Desk, where he will lead the company’s strategic growth in India, driving innovation, business development, and people management. Tejinder’s expertise in P&L management and building leadership teams will continue to propel The Trade Desk’s presence in the programmatic advertising industry across multiple channels, including OTT/CTV, digital audio, video, and mobile.
Before his promotion, Tejinder served as General Manager at The Trade Desk for India. In this role, he successfully executed the company’s global vision, spearheading product development strategies and expanding the client base across India. His efforts solidified The Trade Desk’s market leadership in omnichannel marketing strategies.
Prior to joining The Trade Desk, Tejinder was the Vice President of Global Sales (South Asia, MENA, Sub-Saharan Africa) at Truecaller, where he played a key role in building a multi-million-dollar ads business from scratch. He also led Truecaller’s operations to profitability, driving its presence in emerging markets and establishing it as a top in-app advertising brand.
Tejinder has also held leadership roles at LinkedIn, where he was part of the founding team of the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions division in India. He built the sales channel from the ground up, growing a core team that served clients from SMBs to large enterprises, transforming LinkedIn into a powerhouse in the B2B digital marketing space.
Earlier in his career, Tejinder held various positions at Yahoo, The Times of India, and Network18 Media, where he honed his expertise in digital advertising and sales, delivering innovative solutions to clients across industries.
