Terrie Morales Joins GardaWorld as Regional Director of Human Capital

Midwest, United States, July 2025 – Terrie Morales has joined GardaWorld as Regional Director of Human Capital, where she will lead human resources strategy and operations across the Midwest region. In this critical leadership role, Terrie will be responsible for driving workforce engagement, talent management, compliance, and HR transformation in support of GardaWorld’s fast-paced and mission-driven operations.

Before joining GardaWorld, Terrie Morales served as Regional Human Resources Manager at Brink’s Inc. for three years. In this role, she was a strategic HR partner to city markets and regional operations leaders, delivering comprehensive HR support in employee relations, investigations, compliance, culture development, and talent initiatives. She led the execution of engagement plans, advised on labor and employment matters, and trained market leaders across multiple locations.

Prior to Brink’s, Terrie held HR leadership roles at Enterprise Events Group, Bellerive Country Club, and Flynn Restaurant Group, where she managed HR functions spanning conflict resolution, performance management, leadership development, and workforce compliance. Her role at Flynn included supporting over 100 restaurant units across five states, showcasing her strong capabilities in multi-site HR leadership.

Earlier in her career, she spent nearly a decade at Pinnacle Hospitality Group, LLC as Regional HR Manager, where she led HR programs across a three-state region, supported over 700 associates, and was deeply involved in organizational development, employee benefits, payroll processing, and policy implementation.

Terrie brings a comprehensive HR portfolio built on strategic planning, hands-on execution, and deep employee engagement expertise. Her skills include conflict management, change leadership, labor law compliance, talent development, and employee relations investigations.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
