Hyderabad, Telangana, India, March 2026 – Granules India Limited has announced the appointment of Tushar Zade as Chief Transformation Officer, reinforcing its commitment to driving enterprise-wide transformation and AI-led innovation across its global operations.
A seasoned transformation leader and AI evangelist, Tushar brings over 16 years of experience in delivering large-scale digital and business transformation initiatives, leveraging data-driven strategies and innovative operating models to create measurable impact.
Most recently, Tushar served as CIO/CDO (Head – Digital & Process Excellence) at Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services Limited, where he played a pivotal role in building an AI-first CRDMO ecosystem, leading IT operations, and driving digital transformation across the value chain while ensuring audit readiness and process excellence.
Prior to that, he spent over seven years at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he held multiple leadership roles. As Associate Director – Business Engagement Lead (DPEx), he led SAP S/4 digital transformation initiatives with a strong focus on supply chain, external manufacturing automation, and master data governance. Earlier, as Senior Manager – Global Program Manager, he managed complex global programs such as serialization across multiple departments and partners, driving automation and interoperability across the pharmaceutical value chain.
Earlier in his career, Tushar worked with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India and Bennett Cole, gaining strong expertise in SAP consulting, project management, and enterprise systems. He also had an entrepreneurial stint as Founder & CEO of Shopsted, an e-commerce platform, further strengthening his innovation and business acumen.
