Ubisoft Elevates Cécile Russeil to Executive Vice President

Ubisoft Co-Founder & CEO Yves Guillemot announced the appointment of Cécile Russeil as the new Executive Vice President in charge of Communications, Corporate Affairs, D&I, Human Resources, and Legal. Cécile Russeil, a seasoned leader with 30 years at Ubisoft, previously served as Chief Legal Officer and has now been tasked with unifying these critical corporate functions to enhance the company’s organizational agility and align global strategies more closely.

Strategic Consolidation for Enhanced Agility

“Cécile is a key member of my leadership team and has been instrumental in Ubisoft’s growth over the last 30 years, most recently as Chief Legal Officer. Her unified leadership of these corporate functions and teams will help enhance our organizational agility, fortify decision-making processes, while better aligning our global strategies and actions in these key areas,” stated Yves Guillemot. He praised her business-minded approach and deep understanding of Ubisoft’s culture as vital assets that make her ideally suited for this expansive role.

Upon her appointment, Cécile expressed her enthusiasm and commitment to the new challenges ahead, “I am fully confident in your capability to embrace this new challenge and make Ubisoft’s teams thrive in an ever-evolving market!” Her experience spans significant legal roles within Ubisoft, including Director of Legal Affairs and Lead Legal Counsel, as well as her involvement on the Management Board of the Conseil National du Numerique.
