New Delhi, India, May 2025 — Venu Nuguri has been appointed as the Managing Director of Hitachi India, effective June 2, 2025. In addition to this new role, he will continue to serve as Managing Director and CEO of Hitachi Energy India and Region Head of South Asia at Hitachi Energy. With over three decades of experience in the energy and power systems domain, Venu has been a driving force behind Hitachi Energy’s emergence as a leader in sustainable energy and smart infrastructure solutions. Since the formation of Hitachi Energy in 2019, he has successfully steered the organization through significant milestones, strengthening its market position across India and South Asia.
Prior to his leadership at Hitachi Energy, Venu held multiple senior roles at ABB, where he led regional and global businesses across South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, demonstrating exceptional vision in sales, operations, and business transformation.
