Westerly, R.I., United States, November, 2024 – Washington Trust has announced the appointment of Michelle Kile as Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Banking Officer. In her new role, Kile will oversee the retail sales and customer service operations across Washington Trust’s 28 retail branch offices, the Customer Solutions Center, and digital banking services.

A resident of Rhode Island and a graduate of Rhode Island College, Kile brings extensive expertise in retail branch services, business development, and customer experience. Before joining Washington Trust, she served as a senior leader at Digital Federal Credit Union in Franklin, MA. Known for her industry thought leadership, Kile has participated as a speaker and panelist in numerous banking forums and served on community boards, including the Women’s Initiative Advisory Committee for the United Way of Central Massachusetts.
