Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2026 — Apoorva Mehandiratta has been elevated to Vice President – Marketing at ZEE5. She brings over a decade of experience across entertainment, films, television, and streaming, with a strong background in brand marketing, content marketing, digital strategy, media alliances, and integrated campaigns.
Apoorva has been associated with ZEE5 for nearly five years, where she has been serving as Marketing Director. Her journey at the platform has strengthened her experience in streaming-led marketing, entertainment campaigns, audience engagement, and digital-first brand strategy.
Prior to ZEE5, she was associated with ALTBalaji as Head of Marketing, where she contributed to marketing initiatives for the digital entertainment platform. Before that, she worked with Balaji Telefilms Ltd as AVP Marketing – Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd, where she handled brand and content marketing, integrated marketing strategy, creative campaigns, media planning, brand alliances, digital strategy, PR strategy, and budget management.
Earlier, Apoorva worked with Viacom18 Media Private Limited as Marketing Manager – Viacom18 Studios, where she marketed films across Hollywood, Bollywood, and regional cinema. She managed campaigns for titles including Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Padmaavat, Manto, Baazaar, and Motichoor Chakhnachoor, while also leading media alliances and brand alliance initiatives.
She also gained experience with Star India, where she worked across Star Gold, Star Gold HD, Movies OK, Star Utsav Movies, Star Gold Select HD, and Channel V, focusing on 360-degree marketing campaigns, digital media, on-air communication, consumer insights, PR, brand integrations, and marketing budgets. Earlier in her career, she worked with Milestone Brandcom, Bottomline Media Pvt Ltd, Rajshri Entertainment, and Flags Communications.
