London, England, United Kingdom, June 2024 – Allan Gibson has joined NBCUniversal as the new Vice President Human Resources, NBC News Group International. With extensive experience in human resources leadership, Allan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.
Allan Gibson has been with NBCUniversal for the past three years. Prior to his current role, he served as the Human Resources Director, Global Sales for approximately three years. In this position, Allan provided strategic HR support and led various initiatives to enhance the global sales workforce’s effectiveness and engagement.
Before joining NBCUniversal, Allan was an HR Business Partner at Viacom for almost two years. His responsibilities included providing HR support for the company’s operations in London, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and implementing effective HR strategies.
Allan’s career also includes a significant tenure at Global Brands Group (a member of the Fung Group), where he held the positions of Head of Human Resources – European Footwear & Accessories and Senior Human Resources Manager. Over his three-year tenure, he led HR functions across multiple regions, driving organizational development and talent management initiatives.
At Wolverine Worldwide, Allan served as the HR Manager EMEA and HR Advisor EMEA for nearly two years. In these roles, he managed HR operations for a diverse workforce across multiple countries, contributing to the company’s growth and operational efficiency.
Earlier in his career, Allan held positions at Nucleus Group as an HR Advisor, L’Oréal as a Senior HR Officer, and Selfridges in various HR and operations roles. His experience at L’Oréal included leading a team of HR coordinators, managing employee relations, and implementing innovative recruitment and compensation strategies.
