Delhi, India, July 2024 – Ratan Agrawal has joined Moon Beverages Ltd (Coca-Cola) as Chief Human Resource Officer and Director – People Resource. He will be reporting to Amit Bedi, CEO and Director. With an extensive background in corporate HR, Ratan brings valuable expertise to Moon Beverages, a key bottling partner for The Coca-Cola Company in India.
Before joining Moon Beverages, Ratan served as Senior Lead-Hero Academy- Corporate HR at Hero MotoCorp for 2 years, where he led the development of Hero Academy and integrated various learning systems across the organization. He played a crucial role in shaping future mobility leaders within the company.
Ratan has a decade-long tenure with Hero MotoCorp Ltd, where he held multiple roles including Head HR R&D and Head HR (P). During his time at Hero MotoCorp, he supervised the entire lifecycle of the R&D HR function and headed HR initiatives for operations and central functions, demonstrating strong people management skills and implementing results-driven policies.
Earlier in his career, Ratan was Vice President HR at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, where he was part of the core top management team and handled the MSIL 2012 IR crisis management. He also held significant HR roles at Reliance Retail (Reliance Fresh), Trident Group, MAPS India (Metzeler Automotive Profiles Systems), Escorts Ltd, Britannia Industries Ltd, and Usha Martin Industries group.
Moon Beverages Ltd, established as an authorized bottler of Coca-Cola in 1994, is a leading manufacturer and distributor of Coca-Cola products in India. The company produces and distributes popular beverages such as Coca-Cola, Limca, Sprite, Maaza, Thums Up, Fanta, Minute Maid, Coke Zero, and Kinley. Moon Beverages is the largest bottler for Coca-Cola in India and is known for its high-quality beverage production and distribution under a franchise agreement with Coca-Cola Inc., USA.
