Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, October 2024 – Adam Gibson has joined Vanguard Australia as the Regional Head of Talent Development, where he will lead initiatives in talent management and organizational development. In this role, Adam will oversee key strategies for fostering talent growth and ensuring that Vanguard continues to build its leadership capabilities across the region. He will be working on-site in Melbourne, driving talent acquisition and employee engagement strategies that align with Vanguard’s long-term goals.

Prior to joining Vanguard Australia, Adam Gibson served as General Manager People (Life Portfolio) at CSIRO for over two years, where he led organizational development services focused on culture, diversity, inclusion, leadership, and performance. Adam’s work at CSIRO included developing strategies that enhanced the overall workplace culture and boosted leadership performance across various teams.

Earlier at CSIRO, Adam was the Executive Manager, Culture, Diversity & Inclusion, where he led a team dedicated to delivering CSIRO’s culture roadmap, which included improving leadership practices, diversity initiatives, and performance management. His time at CSIRO also included serving as the Executive Manager of Organisational Effectiveness, where he was responsible for creating and executing culture strategies that had a significant impact across the organization.

Before CSIRO, Adam founded OneMoment Consulting, where he spent three years providing HR consulting, coaching, and organizational development solutions. His expertise in leadership development and culture change helped businesses drive meaningful transformation within their teams and improve their overall strategic alignment.

Adam also held several prominent roles at AustralianSuper, including Head of Talent & Culture and Organisational Capability Manager, where he contributed to the success of the superannuation giant by ensuring the alignment of individual performance with organizational goals and developing talent programs that strengthened the company’s leadership pipeline.
