Frisco, Texas, United States – November 2024 – Dr. Poornima Prasad has recently joined CBTS as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In her role, Dr. Prasad will lead the HR strategies that align with CBTS’s focus on enabling transformational client success through advanced technology and services. Her extensive expertise will support CBTS in its mission to drive forward advancements in AI services and digital economy solutions.
Before joining CBTS, Dr. Prasad served as Global Chief People Officer at Accion Labs for nearly three years, where she developed and led comprehensive HR strategies that contributed significantly to global growth and people management initiatives across multiple regions.
Prior to Accion Labs, she held a significant role at Tech Mahindra as Global Head HR – Network Services and Head HR – Americas Region for over six years, where she was responsible for guiding HR policies and programs tailored to the needs of the Americas and global network services.
Earlier in her career, Dr. Prasad spent over a decade at Infosys in various senior HR roles, including Head HR – Data Science and Analytics Unit and Head of Compensation and Benefits, Compliance – Americas. During her time at Infosys, she spearheaded HR initiatives that shaped data science and analytics talent strategy and managed compliance in the Americas region, ensuring regulatory alignment and talent retention.
Dr. Prasad’s career foundation was built in roles such as Head – Learning and Development at Infosys, where she managed extensive L&D programs for over 18,000 employees across multiple locations. This role, combined with her earlier experience as a corporate trainer and academic faculty, underscores her depth of expertise in workforce development and strategic HR leadership.
