London, United Kingdom, December 2024 – Lauren Fowles has been appointed as the Head of People at Soho House & Co, a prestigious global network of private members’ clubs. In her new role, Fowles will lead the company’s people strategy, fostering an inclusive culture, and driving initiatives that support Soho House’s diverse and creative workforce.
Fowles has been with Soho House & Co for over three years, progressing through various roles in the people management team. Most recently, she served as Senior People Manager, where she oversaw Soho House’s Head Office departments and its Retail business, playing a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business goals.
Lauren began her HR career at Arcadia Group Ltd, where she spent over five years developing her expertise in human resources. Starting as an HR Assistant, she advanced to roles including HR Officer, Senior HR Officer, and finally Human Resources Manager, showcasing her ability to manage employee relations, implement HR policies, and lead people-focused projects.
In June 2021, she joined Soho House & Co as a People Manager, where she successfully supported the business’s growth and transformation efforts. Her achievements in people management led to her promotion to Senior People Manager in early 2023, where she contributed significantly to enhancing employee engagement and culture.
