Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, April 2025 – Anwesh Pratyush has joined Vodafone Idea Limited as Assistant General Manager – HR Business Partner (AGM-HRBP), marking a new chapter in his dynamic HR leadership journey. In his new role, Anwesh will focus on driving key HR initiatives, strengthening workforce engagement, and supporting strategic talent alignment.
Prior to this appointment, Anwesh served as Lead – Talent Acquisition at Adani New Industries Ltd., where he played a critical role in building leadership teams for Adani’s Wind Turbine, Battery Energy Storage, and Analytics & Technology verticals. He also led strategic recruitment initiatives for Adani Green Energy Ltd., while spearheading major campus hiring efforts across top management and engineering institutes.
Earlier, Anwesh held a pivotal HR Business Partner role at Mahindra Finance for over six years, where he managed the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to retention. He was instrumental in performance management, attrition control, productivity analysis, and engagement initiatives that contributed to improved organizational performance.
Anwesh’s career began with valuable early experiences as a Summer Intern at Tata Motors and an Intern at The Coca-Cola Company, where he explored labor management and consumer insights. His academic foundation is rooted in a PGDM in Human Resource Management from the esteemed Xavier Institute of Social Service.
