Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa, July 2025 – Ditsheoana Modise has been appointed as the Human Resources Director at Sun International, a leading player in the gaming, hospitality, and entertainment industries. In her new role, she will lead the company’s human capital strategy, focusing on organizational capability, talent management, and employee experience across the group’s diverse properties and operations.

Prior to joining Sun International, Ditsheoana Modise served as the Group Human Resources Director at BMW Group South Africa for over three years, where she played a key role in driving strategic people initiatives across manufacturing and corporate functions, fostering diversity, and promoting a culture of continuous innovation.

Before her time at BMW, she worked as Chief People Officer at Bridgestone South Africa, where she led HR transformation and organizational effectiveness for nearly two years, supporting critical business shifts and operational alignment.

Earlier, she held the role of Executive Search Consultant at Spencer Stuart, where she provided strategic talent acquisition and advisory services to top-tier clients for close to two years, building senior leadership pipelines across various industries. Prior to that, she was the General Manager Human Resources at MultiChoice, contributing to workforce modernization and capability development.

Her career also includes impactful roles such as Head of Human Resources at Growthpoint Properties, HR Director at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, and HR Director at Cummins Africa Middle East, cumulatively building over two decades of deep HR leadership experience. She began her career with stints at the South African Revenue Service (SARS) and Edcon, rising through HR ranks with increasing responsibilities.

Ditsheoana holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Organizational Leadership from Stellenbosch University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
