Chicago, Illinois, United States, August 2025 – Doug Conomy has started a new role as Chief Human Resources Officer at Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP, the nation’s largest law firm dedicated exclusively to matrimonial and family law. In this leadership position, Doug will oversee all facets of HR strategy and execution, including talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, organizational development, and training initiatives.
Before joining Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP, Doug spent nearly nine years at Barnes & Thornburg LLP as Office Administrator & Director of Resource Administration. In this role, he managed staff, operations, and facilities for the 250-person Chicago office, led firm-wide procurement, and executed a $10 million renovation project. He also designed and implemented an attorney office hoteling program, enhancing operational efficiency and workspace flexibility.
Previously, Doug served as Vice President of Operations at Morae Global (formerly Clutch Group) for over a decade. Reporting directly to the CEO, he led operations across the U.S. and Europe, driving organizational transformation by aligning finance, HR, and strategic operations with evolving business goals in a high-growth, multinational environment.
Earlier, he worked as a Senior Consultant at FTI Consulting, where he partnered with attorneys on trial strategies and client engagements. He also held a legal role at Mayer Brown as a Contract Attorney, where he led teams in managing complex labor and employment litigation and implemented cost-effective solutions without compromising strategic objectives.
With over two decades of experience across operations, law, and human resources, Doug brings a multidisciplinary leadership approach to his role at Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP.
