Tampa, Florida, United States, September 2025 – James Rojas has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Stout, a global advisory firm recognized for its expertise in corporate finance, valuation, financial disputes, and transaction advisory. In this role, Rojas will lead the financial strategy and operations of the firm, reinforcing Stout’s commitment to delivering Relentless Excellence® to its global client base.
Rojas has been with Stout for more than three years, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer – Disputes and Valuation, where he oversaw financial management, operational efficiency, and strategic growth initiatives across the firm’s disputes and valuation practice. His leadership contributed significantly to strengthening Stout’s operational capabilities and client service.
Before joining Stout, Rojas was a Managing Director at Grant Thornton LLP (US), where he provided strategic financial leadership to strengthen service delivery and client engagement. Prior to this, he held multiple leadership roles at Morae, including President of Legal Business Transformation and COO & CFO, where he was responsible for end-to-end financial and operational strategy across legal business transformation, compliance, managed services, and global advisory.
Earlier, Rojas served as Chief Financial Officer at Diversified Foodservice Supply, Inc. (DFS) and The Engine Group, bringing financial rigor and operational alignment to rapidly growing companies. He also held senior leadership positions at HBR Consulting as COO, and at Huron Consulting Group, where he served as Managing Director & Solution Leader, EVP & COO, and VP & CFO, leading finance, operations, and strategic growth initiatives.
Rojas also brings significant executive experience from the retail and food services sector, having served as EVP & CFO at Stop & Shop / Giant and EVP & Chief Administration Officer at US Foods. He began his career with a 12-year tenure at Arthur Andersen, where he rose to the level of Partner, specializing in finance, audit, and advisory.
In addition to his corporate roles, Rojas has contributed to healthcare innovation as a Board Member at Integrated Health Systems (IHS) since 2017, advising on financial oversight and strategic direction.
