Rahul Supare joins NDTV Marathi as National Head – Revenue

Mumbai, India, Maharashtra, October 2025 — Rahul Supare has joined NDTV Marathi as National Head – Revenue, bringing with him over two decades of rich experience in media sales, business strategy, and revenue leadership. In his new role, Rahul will lead national revenue operations, drive strategic growth initiatives, and strengthen client partnerships to expand NDTV Marathi’s market presence and reinforce its position as a leading regional news network.

Rahul joins NDTV Marathi after serving as General Manager – All India, Sales and Strategy at Sakal Media Group, where he successfully led national sales operations and strategy across platforms. His role involved spearheading revenue growth, optimizing sales performance, and building client-centric engagement models that contributed to the group’s sustained business expansion.

Prior to Sakal Media Group, Rahul was Regional Sales Head at Zee Media Corporation Limited, where he played a pivotal role in the success of Zee 24 Taas and other network channels. Under his leadership, the business achieved a 67% year-on-year growth during the pandemic period—a testament to his resilience and strategic foresight in dynamic market conditions. He also contributed to regional network development and implemented robust revenue planning frameworks.

Earlier in his career, Rahul held key leadership roles at Fakt Marathi TV Channel, Sahara India Media & Entertainment, and Zee Telefilms Ltd., where he drove large-scale sales operations, developed media partnerships, and pioneered integrated advertising solutions across regional channels. His journey also includes a successful tenure at NDTV Media Ltd., where he managed advertising revenues across Maharashtra and onboarded 50+ regional clients, significantly contributing to network growth.

Rahul began his career at Result McCann and Solutions-Digitas Integrated Marketing Services, gaining early exposure to brand marketing and media activation. Over the years, he has earned recognition for his strategic acumen, people-first leadership, and ability to blend creativity with commercial success. His appointment at NDTV Marathi marks an important milestone in the channel’s growth journey as it continues to scale operations and deepen its connection with audiences across Maharashtra and beyond.
