Istanbul, Türkiye, February 2026 — Nursel Metin has started a new position as Group Chief Strategy, Business Development and Capital Markets Officer at Kocaer Steel, where she will lead the company’s strategic growth, capital markets engagement, and business development initiatives.
Prior to joining Kocaer Steel, Nursel Metin served for approximately six years as Head of Investor Relations at Koç Holding A.Ş., Turkey’s leading investment holding company and the only Turkish company included in the Fortune Global 500. In this role, she coordinated investor relations activities across the group’s publicly listed companies spanning energy, automotive, finance, and consumer durables, representing a significant share of Borsa Istanbul’s market capitalization. She developed and executed value-creation strategies, actively engaged with global institutional investors, managed analyst relations, and led communication of financial and ESG performance.
Earlier in her career, she spent over a decade as Director, Head of Investor Relations at TAV Airports, where she established and led the investor relations function prior to the company’s public offering. Reporting directly to the CEO, she built global investor communications platforms, managed relationships with shareholders and analysts, and contributed to long-term strategic planning, corporate governance, and sustainability initiatives.
In the earlier phase of her career, Nursel Metin held senior research and investment roles at İş Investment and Ata Invest, focusing on company valuation, sector research, IPO support, and portfolio management across multiple industries.
