Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 – Prashant Sinha has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Resonia, marking a significant leadership transition as the company enters its next phase of growth in India’s power transmission sector.
Having previously served as Chief Operating Officer, Prashant has played a pivotal role in strengthening execution capabilities, driving large-scale project delivery, and building critical transmission corridors across the country. In his new role, he will lead the organization’s growth agenda, focusing on expanding inter and intra-regional networks, leveraging advanced technologies, and enabling seamless integration of renewable energy into the grid.
Prior to his elevation as CEO, Prashant served as Chief Operating Officer at Sterlite Power, where he led operations and project execution across complex transmission infrastructure projects, significantly enhancing delivery capabilities and operational efficiency.
Earlier, he held leadership roles in the financial sector, including Chief Risk Officer at Bondbazaar and Chief Risk Officer at L&T Infra Finance, where he was responsible for risk strategy, credit frameworks, and funding decisions for large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in the power sector.
He also served as Head of Credit – Infra Business at L&T Infrastructure Finance Co Ltd and Head of Credit (Wholesale Business) at L&T Finance, playing a key role in defining financing frameworks, optimizing resource allocation, and evaluating major renewable and infrastructure projects.
Earlier in his career, Prashant held technical and leadership roles at Suzlon Wind Energy, Areva, and TCE, where he built deep expertise in power systems design, transmission infrastructure, and project engineering, contributing to large-scale energy projects across sectors.
He holds a PGDM in Finance from Indian Institute of Management Indore, combining strong financial acumen with deep technical expertise in the power and infrastructure domain.
With nearly three decades of experience across power, infrastructure, and finance, Prashant brings a unique blend of technical, operational, and strategic leadership, positioning him to lead Resonia’s mission of building a future-ready energy infrastructure.
