New Delhi, Delhi, India, April 2026 — Shweta Srivastava has started a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer – Renewables at Purvah Green & RPSG Solvanta (RP Sanjiv Goenka Group), where she will lead the people strategy for the group’s renewable energy businesses. In this role, she will focus on building high-performance organizations, enabling large-scale transformation, and supporting the group’s ambitious growth in the renewable energy sector.
Prior to this role, Shweta Srivastava served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Azure Power, where she led HR strategy for a leading renewable energy organization. Her leadership experience reflects deep expertise in talent strategy, organizational design, and transformation in high-growth and infrastructure-led businesses.
Earlier, she held leadership roles within the Vedanta Group, including Group Talent Acquisition Head at Vedanta Resources Limited and People Strategy Leader – New Businesses & Geographies at Sterlite Power, where she worked closely with leadership teams to drive new business ventures, global expansion, and M&A-led growth initiatives.
She also spent over three years at Sterlite Power as Head of Global Talent Acquisition & Talent Leader, leading global recruitment, talent development, and organization design across geographies. Her experience includes building large-scale talent frameworks, succession planning, leadership development, and employer branding strategies.
In the earlier phase of her career, Shweta Srivastava held key roles at Indus Towers Limited as Regional Head HR & Head Talent Acquisition – India, at UnitedHealth Group as Head of Recruitment Services, and with global organizations such as Qualcomm, Motorola, and Ericsson, building a strong foundation in HR leadership, talent acquisition, and organizational transformation.
She has completed the Executive Leadership Programme from Harvard Business School and holds an MBA in Human Resources from Savitribai Phule Pune University, further strengthening her strategic leadership capabilities.
RPSG Solvanta is the solar manufacturing arm of the RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, focused on building advanced solar panels and equipment to support the transition to clean and renewable energy.
