Tokyo, Japan, May 2026 — Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) has appointed Xiaohui Du (Carrie Xiaohui Du) as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Head of Financial & Controlling, strengthening its executive leadership team as the company advances its strategic ambitions in the global commercial vehicle sector.
Du joins MFTBC from Beijing Foton Daimler Automotive Co., Ltd., where she most recently served as President and CEO. Prior to this role, she held the position of Senior Vice President and Co-CFO, where she was a member of the JV Management Committee and Daimler Truck Asia finance leadership team, overseeing finance, HR, and IT for the Mercedes-Benz Business Unit while leading shareholder and partner negotiations. Her leadership contributed significantly to governance structure, operational systems, cost optimization, and strategic transformation.
Earlier, Du served as Executive Vice President, Product & JV Controlling China at Daimler Greater China Ltd., where she managed shareholder-level communications, product lifecycle financial steering, M&A projects, and passenger car JV controlling across China.
Before that, she was CFO and Head of IT at Fujian Benz Automotive Co., Ltd., where she successfully led profitability turnaround, corporate governance enhancement, production efficiency improvements, and cost optimization programs.
Her decade-long leadership journey at Daimler Greater China Ltd. also included multiple senior finance and controlling positions, spanning reporting, internal controls, risk management, treasury, and joint venture governance. Earlier in her career, Du gained foundational finance expertise at Shell China Ltd.
With over two decades of global finance, governance, JV leadership, and strategic business transformation experience across automotive and industrial sectors, Du brings exceptional financial stewardship and corporate governance capabilities to Mitsubishi Fuso’s leadership.
