Before joining Canary Point Holding, Ame-Ogie served as HR Leader, West Africa at Deloitte, where she led HR strategy, culture transformation, organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, employee experience, and compliance across Nigeria and Ghana. Her leadership included managing a broad HR team, implementing strategic HR frameworks, strengthening organizational capability, and driving Deloitte Nigeria’s culture transformation, including its certification as a Great Place to Work.

Prior to Deloitte, she was Head of Human Capital Development at SunTrust Bank Nigeria, where she oversaw enterprise-wide HR functions, workforce planning, employee engagement, organizational restructuring, succession planning, and strategic human capital development across multiple operational locations.

Earlier, Ame-Ogie spent over 13 years at Guaranty Trust Bank, where she held multiple senior leadership roles across organizational learning and development, employee relations and engagement, operations, and business development. Her work included designing leadership development frameworks, implementing company-wide engagement programs, strengthening organizational culture, overseeing large workforce ecosystems, and building institution-wide resilience strategies.

Her broad experience across financial services, professional services, governance, organizational design, leadership development, and institutional sustainability positions her strongly to support Canary Point Holding’s ambition of evolving into a full-fledged commercial banking institution.
