Raleigh, North Carolina, United States May 2026 — Nathan Lee has started a new position as Vice President, Commercial Manufacturing at Stoke Therapeutics, bringing extensive experience across commercial manufacturing, CMC strategy, MS&T, gene therapy, biologics, process development, technology transfer, and manufacturing operations.
Before joining Stoke Therapeutics, Nathan served as Senior Director, Head of Technical Product Leadership at Avidity Biosciences, where he contributed to technical product leadership in the biotechnology sector.
Earlier, he was Senior Director, Head of Gene Therapy CMC at Poseida Therapeutics, where he established gene therapy CMC capabilities, led process and analytical development, managed manufacturing for multiple therapeutic platforms, built outsourcing partnerships, and oversaw budgets of more than $24 million across two programs.
Nathan also served as Director, Head of Manufacturing Sciences & Technology at Beam Therapeutics, where he built the MS&T organization and led process readiness, technology transfer, facility fit, and manufacturing implementation for ex vivo gene-edited cellular therapeutics, mRNA, and LNP modalities.
His earlier career includes leadership roles at PTC Therapeutics, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Pall Life Sciences, Shire, Lonza, and the University of New Hampshire, where he developed deep expertise in pharmaceutical process development, commercial CMC teams, biologics manufacturing, regulatory strategy, technology transfer, and downstream process technologies.
