Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, April 2026 — Astral Limited has appointed Alkesh Panchal as Vice President – Corporate Affairs, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to expand its footprint across the building materials industry.
In his new role, Alkesh will lead the Corporate Affairs function, bringing his extensive experience in stakeholder management, regulatory engagement, and corporate strategy to support Astral’s growth and governance priorities.
With over a decade of experience across corporate affairs and leadership roles in leading organizations, Alkesh brings a strong track record of navigating complex business environments and driving strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining Astral Limited, Alkesh was associated with Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt. Ltd., where he worked in the Group Corporate Affairs function. In this role, he contributed to managing corporate affairs initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and supporting strategic priorities for the group.
Before that, he spent over a decade with Vodafone Idea Limited as General Manager, where he held key responsibilities across corporate affairs and business operations, gaining deep experience in regulatory landscapes and large-scale organizational environments.
Earlier in his career, Alkesh worked with Birla Sun Life Insurance as a Senior Manager, where he developed foundational expertise in business operations and corporate functions.
He holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, Chennai Chapter, and a Master’s Degree in Finance from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).
