Greater Boston, Massachusetts, United States – October 2024 – Amanda Arria has been appointed as the Chief People Officer (CPO) at Progress. In her new role, Amanda will lead the organization’s global HR strategy, focusing on driving talent management, culture transformation, and strategic HR initiatives aligned with the company’s mission to empower organizations with responsible AI-powered solutions.
Before joining Progress, Amanda was the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at EFI for two years, where she led HR strategy across two private equity-held companies with 2,500 employees worldwide. Amanda played a pivotal role in business transformations, cultural integration, and talent management initiatives aligned with EFI’s strategic goals.
Amanda also founded Women in Energy in 2019, a global network with over 5,250 women in the energy and technology sectors. The community fosters professional growth and networking opportunities, supporting women through virtual and in-person events globally.
Previously, Amanda served as the Global Vice President of Human Resources at Schneider Electric for seven years. She oversaw HR strategy for multiple divisions, managing a team of 75 HR professionals across 50+ countries. Amanda’s tenure at Schneider was marked by successful M&A integrations, cultural innovation, and the implementation of global HR service delivery models.
Earlier in her career, Amanda held leadership roles at RSA The Security Division of EMC (now Dell Technologies) and BAE Systems, where she built HR frameworks supporting global operations, talent acquisition, and strategic HR transformations.
