Newport News, Virginia, United States, June 2026 — Drucker + Falk, LLC has appointed Amber Kirby as Chief People Officer.
Kirby has been associated with Drucker + Falk for more than five years and has served as the organization’s Human Resources Director. In this role, she has led human resources initiatives supporting the company’s workforce across its regional operations and business functions.
Prior to joining Drucker + Falk, Kirby spent more than twelve years with Homeland Security Solutions, Inc. (HSSI), where she held a series of progressively responsible human resources leadership positions.
During her tenure at HSSI, she served as Director of Human Resources, overseeing HR operations and workforce management activities across the organization.
She also held the position of Affirmative Action Officer, supporting compliance and equal employment opportunity initiatives, while concurrently advancing through HR leadership roles within the company.
Earlier, she served as Human Resources Manager, where she was responsible for employee relations, talent management, recruitment, policy administration, performance management, and HR program implementation.
Prior to that, Kirby worked as Senior HR Generalist and Employee Benefits Specialist, gaining experience across benefits administration, employee support services, HR operations, compliance, and workforce programs.
Earlier in her career, she served as Senior Payroll Technician at Riverside Health System, where she supported payroll operations and employee compensation administration.
Throughout her career, Kirby has built experience across human resources leadership, talent management, employee relations, benefits administration, workforce planning, compliance, affirmative action programs, payroll operations, and organizational development.
She holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Development from Villanova University.
