Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 – Anuja Bhate has been promoted to Head – HR, Godrej Housing Finance at Godrej Capital, marking a significant step in her leadership journey within the organization.
In this role, Anuja will lead the HR function for Godrej Housing Finance, focusing on talent strategy, organizational development, and building a high-performance, people-centric culture aligned with the company’s long-term growth ambitions in the financial services sector.
Anuja has been with Godrej Capital for over five years, most recently serving as Head – Learning, Talent and Organisational Development, where she played a key role in shaping leadership development, talent strategy, and capability-building initiatives across the organization. Her contributions have been instrumental in strengthening the company’s people framework and driving a culture of continuous learning.
Prior to joining Godrej Capital, she spent over six years with Godrej Properties Limited, where she held multiple roles including Deputy General Manager – HR Business Partnering, Senior Manager – Learning & Development & HRBP, and Manager – Leadership Development & Performance Management. During this tenure, she led key HR initiatives spanning business partnering, leadership development, and performance management, supporting business growth and organizational effectiveness.
Earlier in her career, Anuja worked with Tata Motors as Assistant Manager – Learning & Development, where she delivered end-to-end L&D solutions for the Commercial Vehicles Business Unit, gaining strong foundational experience in talent development and capability building.
With over a decade of experience across learning, talent management, and HR business partnering, she brings a strong blend of strategic and execution capabilities to her new role.
