Mumbai, India, October 2024 – JSW Energy Limited has announced the appointment of Ms. Anushree Singh as the Head of Human Resources, effective from October 7, 2024. Bringing 19 years of extensive HR leadership experience across diverse sectors, Ms. Singh will lead JSW Energy’s HR operations and strategic initiatives, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.
Ms. Singh most recently served as HR Director at Avery Dennison in the Netherlands, where she led HR strategies for the Aftermarket & Global Finance sectors. Earlier in her tenure, she served as HR Director for EMEA, Apparel Solutions, overseeing HR operations and talent strategy across Europe.
Prior to Avery Dennison, Ms. Singh was a Global Project Manager for Employee Value Proposition (EVP) at AkzoNobel, where she collaborated with the HR Leadership Team to define and embed the EVP across all people practices. She also served as the Country HR Head for India, where she implemented strategic HR initiatives that contributed to improved employee engagement and talent retention.
Ms. Singh has held notable roles in India, including Director of HR for Label & Graphic Materials, South Asia at Avery Dennison, and Deputy General Manager at Aditya Birla Group in their Pulp & Fibre Business, where she managed talent development, learning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Ms. Singh boasts a strong academic background with a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (HR) from the Indian Institute of Planning and Management and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Psychology from Delhi University.
