Atlanta, Georgia, United States, July 2026 — Honeywell Technologies has elevated Barbara McGill to the role of Vice President – Human Resources, recognizing her outstanding leadership and extensive contribution to the organization over the past five years. In her expanded role, she will lead strategic human resources initiatives that strengthen organizational capability, leadership development, talent strategy, and people excellence across Honeywell Technologies as the company continues driving innovation on a global scale.
Barbara brings over two decades of experience in strategic human resources leadership, organizational transformation, talent development, executive partnering, mergers and acquisitions integration, and business transformation across global technology and financial services organizations.
During her five-year journey with Honeywell Technologies, Barbara has steadily progressed through several senior HR leadership positions. Most recently, she served as Senior Director – Human Resources, leading strategic HR initiatives across the business while partnering closely with senior executives to strengthen leadership capability, talent development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness. Prior to that, she served as Senior Director – Human Resources across Ireland and the United States, and earlier as Human Resources Director – EMEA, where she led the people agenda across the European, Middle East, and Africa region, supporting business growth through executive partnership, talent strategy, and organizational transformation.
Before joining Honeywell, Barbara spent more than six years at Dun & Bradstreet, where she progressed through multiple HR leadership roles. She most recently served as Senior Director – Human Resources, EMEA, providing strategic leadership for the company’s people agenda across Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the wider EMEA region. She worked closely with international leadership teams to implement enterprise-wide HR strategies, manage large-scale organizational transformation initiatives, and lead due diligence and post-merger integration activities.
Earlier at Dun & Bradstreet, she served as HR Director and Head of HR for Ireland, while also serving as a Board Member, providing strategic leadership across human resources, organizational development, and governance. She began her journey with the company as an HR Business Partner, supporting business leaders on talent management, employee engagement, organizational capability, and HR strategy.
Prior to Dun & Bradstreet, Barbara served as Senior Lead HR Consultant at eBay Inc., where she partnered with business leaders on strategic human resources initiatives supporting a dynamic global technology environment.
Earlier, she was Strategic HR Business Partner at AIB, where she partnered with senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and talent strategy across the banking sector.
Barbara began her HR leadership journey with EBS Limited, where she spent over 10 years progressing through several roles, including Assistant Manager – Human Resources, Learning and Development Coordinator, and Savings and Investments Business Development. During this period, she developed deep expertise across learning and development, employee engagement, HR operations, organizational capability, and business partnership.
Her promotion reflects Honeywell Technologies’ commitment to developing internal leadership talent while strengthening its global people strategy to support continued innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth.
