Cochin, Kerala, India, March 2025 – Bijith Kumar has taken on the role of Head of Human Resources at Geojit Technologies, marking a significant milestone in his career. With over 15 years of diverse HR leadership experience across IT, financial services, retail, telecommunications, and automobile industries, Kumar will spearhead strategic HR initiatives, workforce planning, talent development, and organizational transformation for Geojit Technologies across Pan-India operations.
Before joining Geojit Technologies, Kumar served as Head of Human Resources at Toonz Media Group, where he led HR strategy, talent acquisition, and employee engagement initiatives for the global animation production house. His leadership played a pivotal role in strengthening people management frameworks and implementing HR best practices.
Prior to that, Kumar spent nearly seven years at Muthoot Pappachan Technologies, where he served as HRBP Manager, overseeing end-to-end HR operations, talent strategy, and HRMS implementation. He collaborated with CXOs and business leaders to drive strategic HR projects and enhance organizational capabilities across the group’s IT, finance, and business development functions.
His earlier career includes key HR roles at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, where he worked as Assistant Manager HR, handling HR generalist functions, workforce planning, and compliance. Before that, he held HR leadership positions at Big Bazaar – Future Retail and Asianet Satellite Communications, where he gained hands-on experience in HR operations, employee relations, and organizational development.
