Lathrup Village, Michigan, United States, March 2025 – Michigan First Credit Union has announced the appointment of Cindy Kiely as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). With nearly eight years at Michigan First Credit Union, Cindy has played a pivotal role in strengthening the organization’s HR strategies, employee engagement, and leadership development. In this new role, she will drive HR innovation, talent management, and organizational culture, ensuring continued growth and employee success across the institution.
Before stepping into the CHRO role, Cindy Kiely served as Senior Human Resources Manager for four years, overseeing key HR functions and workforce strategies. Prior to that, she was Human Resources Manager, leading initiatives in talent acquisition and employee relations.
Before joining Michigan First Credit Union, Cindy held HR leadership roles at Talascend as a Human Resources Generalist, where she specialized in workforce planning and HR compliance.
She also worked at Information Gateways Inc. in a similar capacity and spent over eight years at Proper Group International as a Human Resources Professional, where she contributed to organizational development and HR transformation. Earlier in her career, Cindy gained experience at J&L Industrial Supply, where she served as a Human Resources Specialist, focusing on HR administration and employee relations.
