Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, October 2025 — Allnorth Consultants Limited has appointed Deanna Chala, MA as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this strategic role, she will lead the company’s people strategy, guiding transformation, organizational development, and talent optimization to align with business objectives while fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and performance excellence.
Chala has been part of Allnorth since 2021, most recently serving as Director, Human Resources, where she shaped the company’s human capital strategy to support organizational growth. She successfully led initiatives in talent acquisition, HR operations, and learning and development, fostering a culture that champions collaboration, safety leadership, and diversity during periods of expansion and change.
Prior to this, she briefly worked as Senior Specialist, Learning & Development at Allnorth, where she designed and implemented training programs aligned with regulatory standards and business goals, ensuring measurable improvement in workforce capabilities.
Her earlier career at Teck Resources Limited spanned over two decades, where she served in multiple leadership roles including Senior Advisor, Leadership Development, Project Lead & Change Manager – HRIS Transformation, and Continuous Improvement Lead. In these roles, she spearheaded leadership development programs, managed large-scale HR technology transformations, and drove operational efficiency projects, including deployment of autonomous haulage systems.
Chala began her career at leading law firms such as Naik Naik & Company – Advocates and gained progressive expertise in organizational and leadership development, business process improvement, and strategic HR management. Her extensive career journey, supported by her Master’s degree in Leadership, positions her strongly to advance Allnorth’s HR vision at the executive level.
