ipso Bildung, a cornerstone of private education in Northwestern Switzerland, has appointed Dr. Hendrik Dietrich as its new Chief Learning Officer. Dr. Dietrich brings a distinguished 20-year career in educational development and corporate learning to his new role at ipso Bildung’s Basel campus.
Prior to joining ipso Bildung, Dr. Dietrich excelled as a Learning Expert at getAbstract from July 2022 to March 2024, where he was celebrated for integrating cutting-edge neuroscience and AI into learning processes and leading key workshops, including a notable session at Microsoft’s headquarters. His expertise spans a range of critical areas from scientific research in neurobiology to strategic educational program development.
Earlier, Dr. Dietrich served as Head of Custom Solutions at getAbstract, where from February 2021 to March 2024, he custom-crafted learning solutions for a global clientele that included Microsoft and Novartis. His role involved transforming complex institutional knowledge into accessible learning modules that significantly enhanced corporate learning landscapes.
Dr. Dietrich’s previous experience also includes impactful tenure as Managing Editor for Science and Technology at getAbstract, where he curated specialized content that melded scientific insight with technological advances to refine learning systems.
