New York City Metropolitan Area, United States, October 2025 – Coforge, a global digital services and solutions provider, has announced the appointment of Garima Singh as Deputy Chief People Officer. In her new role, Garima will lead the development of future-ready people practices and talent strategies, provide HR leadership to senior business leaders and sales teams, and drive strategic HR initiatives to strengthen Coforge’s growth ambitions and leadership depth globally.
Garima Singh brings more than two decades of diverse experience across HR strategy, talent management, leadership development, and organizational transformation. Prior to joining Coforge, she served as Chief People Officer at Orion Innovation, where she led the company’s global HR strategy, focusing on people engagement, talent acquisition, and organizational growth. Her leadership played a pivotal role in nurturing a culture of innovation and performance excellence across global teams.
Before Orion Innovation, Garima had a distinguished 15-year tenure at Persistent Systems, where she held multiple leadership roles, including Head HR – North America, Head HR – Digital Business, and Senior Manager – Compensation & Benefits. During her time there, she led HR for key geographies and business units, built leadership hiring functions across North America, and implemented strategic initiatives in performance management, compensation design, and employee engagement. She also spearheaded several transformation projects, such as gamification of performance systems, predictive HR analytics, and strategic workforce planning.
Garima began her corporate journey after serving as a Major in the Indian Army for over five years, where she led teams in high-stakes environments and developed a deep understanding of leadership, motivation, and organizational resilience. Her transition from the armed forces to corporate HR has been marked by a consistent commitment to building high-performance cultures grounded in discipline, purpose, and empathy.
Garima holds a Post Graduate Program in Business Management (HR) from XLRI Jamshedpur, one of India’s premier institutions in human resources education.
