In this strategic role, Lisa will lead ISGroup’s people agenda, focusing on strengthening leadership capability, embedding cultural alignment, and building future-ready people and organizational systems to support the company’s growth and innovation ambitions.
With more than 18 years of HR leadership experience, Lisa Taylor-Mesiti has built a distinguished career across infrastructure, engineering, retail, and consulting sectors, driving transformation and people-centric business outcomes.
Before joining ISGroup, Lisa served as People & Engagement Director – Australia & New Zealand at Egis, a global multidisciplinary engineering firm. Over her three-year tenure, she led HR strategy across the region, overseeing organizational design, HR business partnering, learning and development, compensation and benefits, industrial relations, and talent management. Her leadership played a key role in shaping Egis ANZ’s growth trajectory and employee engagement culture.
Prior to Egis, Lisa spent over three years with Aurecon, where she held senior people leadership roles, including Regional People & Culture Leader and People Operations Manager. She led transformative HR initiatives focused on strategic planning, culture change, and leadership development, supporting Aurecon’s evolution into a design-led engineering organization.
Earlier in her career, she founded and led Professional Partnering, a boutique HR and recruitment consultancy, for over six years, delivering customized HR and organizational development solutions to clients across design, construction, retail, medical, and entertainment sectors. Her entrepreneurial background underscores her ability to align business strategy with talent and performance outcomes.
Lisa has also held key HR leadership roles with Brisbane City Council, Michael Hill, and SGS, where she gained extensive experience in workforce strategy, compensation and benefits, and organizational transformation. Her early career included roles at Hudson and Visionstream Pty Ltd, where she developed her foundation in recruitment, project management, and people operations.
