Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, August 2026 — Papaya Global has appointed Harshit Upadhyay as Head of HR Centers of Excellence. In his new role, he will lead the company’s global HR Centers of Excellence across Talent Management, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, People Operations, HRIS, and People Analytics, partnering with business leaders to build scalable people practices, strengthen leadership capabilities, and deliver exceptional employee experiences across Papaya Global’s worldwide workforce.
With over 14 years of experience in HR strategy, talent management, organizational development, people analytics, compensation & benefits, and HR transformation, Harshit Upadhyay brings deep expertise in designing people strategies that enable business growth and foster high-performing organizations.
Prior to joining Papaya Global, Harshit served as Director – People Success, APAC at Sapiens, where he led strategic people partnerships across the region, driving talent management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and change management initiatives while championing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Earlier, as Senior Manager – People Strategy at Publicis Sapient, he spearheaded people strategy for Salesforce, MarTech Centers of Excellence, and multiple industry verticals, helping shape the organization’s hybrid workplace model, strengthening employee listening frameworks, and leveraging people analytics to enhance business outcomes.
Before that, Harshit spent over 10 years with Infosys, progressing through several leadership roles across HR operations, compensation and benefits, HR business partnering, and organizational development. During his tenure, he led manager enablement programs, workplace climate initiatives, digital learning strategies, global HR operations, and localization programs across the United States, while contributing significantly to employee engagement, capability building, and HR process transformation.
Earlier in his career, he completed HR internships with Celio, Deutsche Bank, and Reliance, laying the foundation for his expertise in employee engagement, recognition frameworks, onboarding, and organizational development.
