Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, December 2025 — Satyesh Brinechem Pvt Ltd has appointed Hiren Patel as its new Chief Executive Officer, entrusting him with steering the company’s strategic growth, operational excellence and global competitiveness in the marine chemicals space. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening Satyesh Brinechem’s position as a leading producer of industrial salt and bromine while further deepening its commitment to sustainable, future-ready operations.

Before taking on the CEO role at Satyesh Brinechem Pvt Ltd, Hiren Patel most recently served as Managing Director at ALTA Performance Materials India LLP in Mumbai. He played an integral role during the transition of the former INEOS Composites business to ALTA Performance Materials under KPS Capital Partners, progressively growing his responsibilities and leading the newly formed entity in India with a strong focus on value creation and customer-centric growth in specialty materials.

Prior to leading ALTA Performance Materials India LLP, Hiren spent close to six years with INEOS Composites India LLP, where he progressed from Commercial Director to Country Head. As India Entity Head, reporting to the Senior Vice President – EMEA & India, he directed tolling operations and full P&L, led a senior leadership team and oversaw key functions including SHE, compliance, supply chain, HR, finance, procurement, sales and marketing, customer service and technical services. Over this period, he delivered margin growth and market share gains, drove substantial cost savings and SG&A realignment, and created long-term value by converting regular specialty chemicals contracts into long-term commercial agreements—demonstrating his strong strategic and execution capabilities in business planning and flawless execution.

Earlier, Hiren Patel built a robust commercial track record at Ashland India Pvt. Ltd., spending nearly six years in leadership roles as Sales Director and General Manager – Business Development. He led business development for specialty resins, drove significant sales growth in EPC projects and material replacement segments addressing corrosion challenges, and improved market share and profitability in specialty products. In parallel, he managed P&L for specialty resins in India, headed market development and secondary sales, spearheaded product management for corrosion and industrial resins, and led market and application development with both new and existing products—laying strong foundations for his later general management roles.

In the first decade of his career, Hiren honed deep technical, manufacturing and application development expertise across Atul Limited, Ashland and Dow Chemical International Pvt. Ltd. At Atul Limited, he progressed from Assistant Manager – Manufacturing to Manager – Application Development & Technical Services, overseeing epoxy resin manufacturing, process improvements, large-scale project scale-ups and technical services, while driving new formulations and product stewardship.

He then led technology and application development as Sr. Manager – Technology at Ashland, focusing on thermoset resins such as UPR and epoxy vinyl esters, before moving to Dow Chemical International Pvt. Ltd. as Application Development Manager, where he led platforms for formulated PU, composites and epoxy systems for wind energy and industrial segments and even filed a patent for a coating formulation and application on composites for gas barrier technology. He has further strengthened his leadership credentials through executive education at London Business School and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

About Satyesh Brinechem Pvt Ltd

Satyesh Brinechem Pvt Ltd is a pioneering marine chemical company that has transformed a 147 sq. km land parcel in the Greater Rann of Kutch (GRK) into a mega greenfield marine chemical project through an investment of around USD 110 million. Recognising the GRK region as “nature’s chosen landscape” rich in marine chemicals with one of the highest concentrations of bromine after the Dead Sea, Satyesh Brinechem has built a robust platform to unlock the region’s full industrial potential.

The company sustainably produces approximately 3.0 million MTPA of industrial salt and 21,000 MTPA of liquid bromine, with the capacity to ramp up industrial salt production to 4.5 million MTPA. Operating with all statutory clearances, Satyesh Brinechem follows a zero-discharge philosophy, ensuring environmental compliance and optimal utilisation of natural resources. Guided by its belief that leadership is about being ahead of the curve while walking with and empowering all stakeholders, Satyesh Brinechem continues to strengthen its role as a responsible and future-focused leader in the marine chemicals industry.
