Singapore, June 2025 — Google has announced the appointment of Jagdish Mahapatra as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), APJ Google Cloud Security, marking a strategic move to strengthen its cybersecurity growth agenda across Asia Pacific and Japan. With over 25 years of global leadership across cybersecurity, cloud computing, and enterprise technology, Jagdish brings an exceptional track record of scaling businesses, building high-performance teams, and driving revenue growth across diverse markets.
Before joining Google, Jagdish served as Chief Revenue Officer at ColorTokens Inc., where he led global go-to-market functions spanning the US, EMEA, and APJ regions. His tenure was marked by innovative growth initiatives, channel expansion, and alignment of presales and sales operations to enterprise transformation goals.
Prior to ColorTokens, Jagdish held the position of Vice President and Managing Director – Asia at CrowdStrike, where he scaled the Asia business by an astonishing 100x and grew the regional team by 60x. Under his leadership, CrowdStrike was certified as a “Great Place to Work” in both Singapore and India, reinforcing his emphasis on people-first culture and sustainable business growth.
Earlier, at McAfee, he served in two major roles: Managing Director for India and SAARC, and subsequently as Chief of Channels & Alliances, Managed Services, Cloud, and Specialist Sales for Asia Pacific. He was instrumental in expanding partner-led business across 500+ strategic alliances, managing over $150 million in revenue and spearheading McAfee’s dominance in several market segments.
Jagdish’s formative leadership years were spent at Cisco, where over more than a decade, he helped scale the company’s India operations from $50 million to over $1 billion. He played critical roles across sales, channel development, and vertical-specific GTM (go-to-market) innovations, eventually becoming Sr. Vice President – Sales and managing the IT services vertical worth $300 million.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Jagdish is a TED speaker, angel investor, and startup advisor, reflecting his deep engagement with the broader tech ecosystem. He combines enterprise discipline with startup agility and is widely respected for his thought leadership in digital security and revenue acceleration.
Jagdish holds a Master’s in Marketing Management (MMS) from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from University College of Engineering, Burla. He has also completed executive programs from INSEAD in Strategy and Innovation and from MIT in No Code AI and Machine Learning.
In his new role, Jagdish will lead Google Cloud Security’s APJ revenue organization, driving customer success, strengthening strategic alliances, and accelerating security adoption across the region’s enterprise and public sectors. His appointment is expected to further align Google Cloud’s cybersecurity offerings with the pressing needs of digital transformation in APJ.
