United States, May 2026 — John Meloun has started a new position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Golden Pet Brands, bringing extensive experience in financial leadership, strategic growth, and capital markets to the organization.
In his new role, John will oversee financial operations, including the company’s vertically integrated manufacturing and direct-to-consumer business, supporting Golden Pet Brands’ mission to lead innovation in pet health and nutrition.
John Meloun joins Golden Pet Brands after a highly successful tenure at Xponential Fitness, where he served as Chief Financial Officer for nearly eight years. During this period, he played a pivotal role in leading the company’s IPO and multiple capital raises, significantly strengthening its financial foundation and enabling expansion across wellness segments.
Earlier, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer at The Joint Chiropractic, where he provided strategic financial leadership to support the growth of a nationwide network of clinics, enhancing profitability and operational efficiency.
Prior to that, John spent several years at University of Phoenix as Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, overseeing financial consolidation for large business units and supporting executive decision-making through data-driven insights.
He also held leadership roles at Emerson and began his career at Motorola, where he built a strong foundation in financial planning, analysis, and operational finance across multiple functions.
In addition to his executive roles, John has contributed as a Board Member at WellBiz Brands, reflecting his broader strategic and governance expertise.
John Meloun holds an MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business – Arizona State University, equipping him with strong expertise in finance, strategy, and leadership.
