Greater Toronto Area, Canada, March 2025 – Sun Life appoints Kanha Arora as Director of People Analytics. In this role, Kanha will lead Sun Life’s efforts in leveraging data-driven insights to enhance workforce strategies, optimize talent management, and drive business impact through advanced analytics.
Kanha Arora has been an integral part of Sun Life for nearly three years, previously serving as Senior Manager, Global Employee Listening and People Insights. In this role, he played a key role in utilizing data analytics to enhance employee experience, shaping Sun Life’s workforce strategy through actionable insights.
Prior to joining Sun Life, Kanha worked at William Osler Health System, where he held the role of Organizational Performance Consultant. He led strategic projects, including developing COVID-19 dashboards and optimizing operational analytics to support key decision-making. His expertise in data visualization, stakeholder engagement, and workforce optimization made a significant impact on the organization’s performance strategy.
Earlier in his career, Kanha served as Clinical Strategy and Design Analyst at William Osler Health System, contributing to COVID-19-related strategic planning, grant writing, and resource mapping. He also worked at Janssen Inc., where he played a pivotal role in analyzing global survey data to support enterprise-wide diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Kanha’s passion for people analytics and strategic decision-making was further honed during his tenure as a Performance Excellence Intern at Janssen Inc. and Strategy Consultant at CodeSpace Academy. His early career experiences in business intelligence, strategic consulting, and data-driven problem-solving have provided him with a strong foundation for his current leadership role at Sun Life.
Kanha holds an MBA from the University of Toronto – Rotman School of Management, where he graduated on the Dean’s List and was awarded multiple prestigious fellowships, including the Bregman Scholarship and Andrew Alexander Kinghorn Fellowship. Additionally, he earned a Master’s Degree in Global Affairs from the University of Toronto, further solidifying his expertise in strategic decision-making and international business.
