Kanika steps into this role at a time when NatWest Group continues to accelerate its focus on digital banking innovation, advanced analytics, and customer-centric financial solutions. Prior to this elevation, Kanika served as Senior Vice President at NatWest Group, where she led critical initiatives across analytics and transformation, contributing to enterprise-wide data strategy and governance frameworks.
She earlier held the role of Analytics Lead – Cross Functional Transformation at NatWest Commercial and Institutional, where she drove large-scale transformation programs, strengthening data governance, operational efficiency, and cross-functional analytics capabilities.
Her extensive tenure within the NatWest ecosystem also includes serving as Global Delivery Manager at NatWest Markets, where she led delivery of complex analytics and data programs, and earlier as VP – Data Governance Manager, ensuring global compliance with data management policies and enhancing data quality and governance practices.
Kanika’s early career spans leading organizations such as Infosys, Ernst & Young, and Sapient, where she built a strong foundation in analytics, finance technology, and consulting, enabling her to drive impactful data-led transformation across industries.
Kanika Kapoor holds advanced studies in Data Science and AI from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a finance degree from Symbiosis International University, reflecting her strong blend of technical and business acumen.
