Her experience and leadership in HR strategy will be instrumental in driving operational success at Ausgrid.
Before joining Ausgrid, Kate Wholohan was the Senior People & Culture Partner at Ausgrid, where she provided strategic HR partnership to the operations team, aligning HR initiatives with business goals. She held this role for several months, demonstrating strong leadership and commitment to building a culture of employee engagement and excellence.
Prior to Ausgrid, Kate served as the Head of People & Culture at TEEG, where she led HR strategies, talent acquisition, and culture development initiatives across multiple regions. Her work at TEEG was marked by a significant improvement in employee engagement and the successful implementation of HR programs aimed at fostering a supportive and high-performing workplace.
Kate also held the position of Senior People and Culture Business Partner at Airservices Australia, where she played a pivotal role in managing people strategies and workforce planning. During her tenure, she successfully led HR initiatives that improved operational efficiency and employee satisfaction within a complex and regulated environment.
Earlier in her career, Kate spent over a decade at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners in various senior HR and marketing roles, including People and Culture Manager and Customer Marketing – Planning Partner. Her broad experience at Coca-Cola covered HR leadership, marketing strategy, and team management, giving her a well-rounded understanding of both people and business dynamics.
Her extensive career in HR and marketing leadership, coupled with her ability to manage large teams, coach leaders, and implement strategic people plans, makes Kate an invaluable asset to Ausgrid as they continue their journey of transformation in the energy sector.
