Kedar Lele joins Haleon as President for India Subcontinent

Mumbai, Maharashtra,India, January 2026 — Kedar Lele has joined Haleon as President for the India Subcontinent. In this role, he will lead Haleon’s business across the region, working closely with teams to advance the company’s purpose of delivering everyday health with humanity.

In his new position, Kedar Lele will oversee Haleon’s portfolio of trusted consumer healthcare brands, including Sensodyne, Crocin, ENO, Otrivin, Iodex and Centrum. His mandate includes driving sustainable growth, strengthening consumer trust, and ensuring strong execution across channels while deepening Haleon’s impact in one of its most strategic markets.

Prior to joining Haleon, Kedar Lele served as Managing Director, Castrol India and Vice President – South Asia at Castrol, where he led one of India’s most established lubricant businesses. In this role, he leveraged deep insights into consumer behaviour and market dynamics to deliver value for customers, employees and shareholders, with experience spanning sales, marketing, e-commerce, advertising, digital innovation and customer development.

Before Castrol, he spent nearly 14 years with Unilever, holding several senior leadership roles across India and South Asia. Most recently, he was Executive Director – Sales & Customer Development, South Asia at Hindustan Unilever Limited, and a member of the company’s Management Committee. In this role, he led end-to-end sales and customer development, managing revenues of approximately INR 56,000 crore and a large frontline organisation across rural, urban and digital channels.

His earlier roles at Unilever included serving as Chairman & Managing Director of Unilever Bangladesh, Chief Operating Officer, Vice President, and General Manager – East, where he led large, multi-functional teams and delivered strong business growth alongside high employee engagement and customer satisfaction. He also held leadership positions at Kimberly Clark Lever Ltd, and earlier in his career worked with Monster.com, BPL Innovision, and DDB Mudra Group, building a strong foundation across marketing, sales, and brand management.

Kedar Lele holds an MBA in Strategic Marketing & Operations from the Indian School of Business, where he was a gold medallist in Strategic Marketing, and a PGDCA in Advertising & Brand Management from MICA | The School of Ideas.
