Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, April 2025 – Kris Erickson has been appointed as the Director, Talent Development & HR Strategy at SkyWater Technology, a U.S.-based, DMEA-accredited Category 1A Trusted semiconductor manufacturer. In this pivotal role, Kris will lead strategic talent initiatives, overseeing leadership development, employee engagement, and HR strategy to support the company’s rapid growth across aerospace, defense, automotive, and emerging technology sectors.
Prior to joining SkyWater Technology, Kris Erickson spent over three impactful years at Tennant Company, where she most recently served as Senior Manager, Talent Management, leading both the talent acquisition and talent development functions globally. Earlier, Kris contributed as Senior Manager, Talent Development and Principal Talent Development Specialist, driving the creation of robust global learning strategies and leadership initiatives.
Before Tennant, Kris worked at Huntington National Bank as a Talent Management Generalist, where she supported talent frameworks during a period of critical growth and transformation. She also spent nearly four years at TCF Bank, where she was recognized for advancing learning and development programs in various leadership roles, including Manager/Consultant, Learning & Development.
Kris began her professional journey in education, spending nearly seven years as an English and Communications Teacher at St. Louis Park Public Schools, where she also took on leadership roles like Summer School Coordinator and Student Council Advisor. Her early passion for people development was nurtured during her time as a Lead Teacher at Sylvan Learning and a Substitute Teacher across several school districts in Minnesota.
