Delhi, India, March 2026 — Kumar Gandharv has joined The Channel Company as Editor, CRN India, strengthening the publication’s editorial leadership in enterprise technology and channel ecosystem coverage.
In his new role, Kumar will focus on enterprise technology stories with strong relevance to the channel and partner ecosystem. His coverage areas include enterprise AI and GenAI, cloud (public, private, and hybrid), cybersecurity, datacentres, networking, enterprise software, data platforms, and semiconductors—key segments shaping digital transformation across India and the broader APAC region.
Prior to joining The Channel Company, Kumar was associated with iTNews Asia, where he served as Senior Technology Journalist. In that role, he edited and published digital transformation stories and interviews with APAC CIOs, CTOs, and CDOs, wrote case studies and whitepapers on AI, cybersecurity, and IoT, moderated webinars connecting enterprise users and vendors, and organised B2B events for technology audiences.
Earlier, he worked with INDIAai in partnership with NASSCOM, covering artificial intelligence across Indian startups and academia. He authored over 125 articles and reports on AI, moderated industry webinars, contributed to startup profiling initiatives, and supported ecosystem-building efforts aligned with national AI strategy.
Kumar also served as a Tech Journalist at Analytics India Magazine (AIM), where he authored over 320 pieces including opinion articles, startup features, leadership interviews, and research-driven stories on AI and machine learning across IITs and global enterprises. His earlier journalism career includes reporting roles at Business Standard and The Times of India, focusing on e-commerce, startups, pharma, consumer sectors, and the internet economy.
