Fort Worth, Texas, United States, June 2026 — Camp Fire First Texas has promoted Nicole Willingham to the role of Chief Financial and Operations Officer, recognizing her strong leadership across finance, operations, compliance, governance, project management, and nonprofit administration.
In her expanded role, Nicole will oversee financial and operational strategy for Camp Fire First Texas, supporting the organization’s mission to expand learning opportunities for children, youth, and early childhood educators across North Texas.
Prior to this promotion, Nicole served as Chief Financial Officer at Camp Fire First Texas, where she contributed to financial leadership, organizational planning, and operational effectiveness. She also serves as Chief Executive Officer of Aldus Consulting, LLC, where she provides affordable housing and nonprofit consulting services across financial assessments, bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, project management, and performance management.
Before joining Camp Fire First Texas, Nicole worked with CVR Associates as Senior Vice President, bringing experience in leadership, consulting, and program management. Earlier, she spent more than 14 years with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, holding several leadership and analytical roles including Director, Office of Prevention, Recovery, and Transformation, Supervisory Enforcement Analyst, Financial Analyst, and Division Director, Office of Public Housing.
Nicole also spent more than five years with the General Services Administration, where she held roles including Subject Matter Expert, Accountant, Accountant Intern, and Student Trainee. She began her professional journey as a Tax Preparer with Patsy Glenn, CPA, building an early foundation in accounting and financial services.
With extensive experience across public service, nonprofit consulting, financial analysis, compliance, and operational leadership, Nicole brings a strong blend of financial discipline and mission-driven leadership to her expanded role.
