Lisa Thomson brings over two decades of leadership experience in human resources, board governance, and business strategy. Prior to joining ClearSky Logic, Lisa served as Chief People Officer at Elevate HR, where she provided strategic HR consulting to growing businesses. She played a pivotal role in advising founders, boards, and investors on culture, talent strategies, and organizational development.
Lisa also led AAB People as Partner/CEO, where she drove the HR strategy and direction following the company’s acquisition by AAB Group. During her nine-year tenure, she worked closely with high-growth investor-backed businesses, providing tailored HR solutions that contributed to their scaling efforts. Her earlier career includes impactful roles such as HR Manager at Aridhia Informatics and Axios Systems, where she established and managed HR frameworks, shaped organizational culture, and supported global operations.
In addition to her professional roles, Lisa actively contributes to various boards, including Entrepreneurial Scotland, Firstport, and Prosper, where she leverages her expertise to support social enterprises, startups, and nonprofit organizations.
